Description
Residential development of 106 new Council Rent homes within the Surrey Lane estate. The development comprises three blocks, ranging from four to six storeys, together with associated landscaping and environmental improvements.
News
Hill are continuing to make good progress on the development:
- Block A is split into two cores: A1 and A2 scaffold adaptions are taking place for the bricklayers, which are now on level 4. A2 is progressing internally, with first fix electrical up to level 4 and snagging in progress. First fix plumbing has now reached level 3
- On Block B, brickwork has now been completed to all elevations. Communal and staircase walls are now tape and jointed. Front entrance doors are being installed to flats. All kitchens have now been fitted into the flats and second fix carpentry is in progress to level 5
- Finally, block C is the further progressed block, with bathrooms being fitted alongside tiling, decorations, ventilation units and snagging of works completed to date
