Thames Tideway Tunnel
The Thames Water Utilities Limited (Thames Tideway Tunnel Order 2014) came into effect on the 24 September 2014. The Local Planning Authority is required to determine a number of planning applications submitted by Thames Water Utilities Limited in relation to the Order.
These applications are for discharging the requirements of the Order and are not for the principle of development which has already been approved after public examination. There is no requirement to consult when determining the applications, except with legal consultees in circumstances as stated within the Order. However, the Planning Officer will decide as to whether public consultation is considered necessary within the 8 week determination period, over and above the consultation requirements set out in the Order.

Formal applications
To view and comment on the Thames Tideway Tunnel applications please go to the Planning search and within the Search Criteria: Application Type choose Thames Tideway Tunnel and click the 'Search' button.
Any comments need to be submitted within three weeks of the date of registering the application.
Draft applications
Before the submission of the formal application the Council has the opportunity to provide comments to the Thames Tideway Tunnel Ltd project team on the content of the draft applications.
Email comments on the content of the draft applications to thamestunnel@wandsworth.gov.uk with the subject 'draft application'.
Any comments need to be submitted within three weeks of the date of the application which can be found on the covering letter. Please see the table below for the details of draft applications received.
There will be the chance to comment on the formal application at a later date, please see the above section on formal applications for details of how to do so.
