Wandsworth is the Mayor of London’s Borough of Culture 2025, and there’s lots of ways local people can get involved.

Free swimming lessons for Wandsworth school children in years 2-7 unable to swim for 25 metres are available during the February half-term in four of the borough’s leisure centres, as part of Wandsworth Council’s Access for All scheme.

Wandsworth Council have launched a public consultation on proposed changes which will require developers to deliver 50% affordable housing on all new sites.

Community Spaces, funded by the Council, are reopening, They provide warm and welcoming places for all Wandsworth residents during the colder months. The spaces, some Council-owned and others run by community groups, offer a place to connect, enjoy a hot drink or meal, and access council services.
