Year 6 admissions test
Some Wandsworth secondary schools use partial-selection or fair banding as part of their admission criteria. The year 6 admissions test is designed to provide these schools with the data they need to make offer decisions.
All children applying for Ashcroft Technology Academy, Burntwood School, Chestnut Grove Academy or Graveney School must be registered to be invited to take the test.
We are now accepting test registrations for children starting secondary school in 2025.
View year 6 admissions test if you wish to register your child. The closing date for test registration is 4 September 2024.
When you will hear the outcome: National Offer Day
If you apply online you will be emailed the outcome of your application on the evening of 3 March 2025 from the London eAdmissions Team.
You will also be sent a follow-up notification email from Wandsworth Council if it was not possible to offer your first preference school. This will provide detailed information about the outcome of your application and what do next.
If you applied on a paper form and have provided an email address, we will email you your application outcome on the evening of 3 March 2025. Otherwise, you will be sent an outcome letter by first class mail on 3 March.
Waiting list
If your application is unsuccessful you can check your position on the secondary school waiting list.
