Free cycling training courses for adults and children
Cycling training courses are available, free of charge, to children and adults who live, work, or study in Wandsworth.
Courses can be tailored for special needs. Courses available are:
- Level 1 Children's basic cycle training sessions (9 to 10 year olds)
- Level 2 Children's basic cycle training sessions (10 to 15 year olds)
- Adult cycle training scheme (16+)
- Family cycle training
- TfL's free online Cycle Skills course
Adult cycle training is either carried out at a convenient time for the trainee, usually evenings or at weekends throughout the year, or as part of a group training session.
All our courses are run by National Standards approved, trained and experienced instructors.
We have public liability insurance that covers all aspects of training courses. There are health and safety rules which must be met by anyone on a course and parents/guardians of children on courses.
As courses are popular you may have to wait for a place. You are advised to only book a course that you can fully complete. Course places are issued on a first come, first served basis so please check that your desired place has been reserved.
