Motorcycle and scooter training

If you want to ride a Motorcycle or scooter you will need to complete Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). CBT is not a test but a training course which you will need to complete before you can ride a motorbike or scooter. You can search for Approved Training Bodies (ATB) in or near Wandsworth on the GOV.UK website.

BikeSafe and Scooter Safe Training

The Metropolitan Police are offering BikeSafe or ScooterSafe courses. BikeSafe is a police led motorcycle project that is run by most forces throughout the UK. The main aim is to reduce the number of bikers being hurt on the roads.

The BikeSafe workshop explores the main riding hazards that you as a biker face. By delivering theory presentations and observed rides, a BikeSafe workshop will help you discover your strengths and weaknesses and where to go next to develop and get more from your biking.

The course costs £65.
