Visitor parking permits eligibility
You are entitled to buy resident visitor parking permits if your principal place of residence is within Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and is not part of an excluded or permit-free development.
You do not have to drive or own a vehicle yourself to obtain resident visitor permits.
Who can use the permits
- Long stay visitors to residents in all-day zones, for whom the pay and display machines, which provide short term parking, are not suitable
- Visitors to residents in one-hour zones, where pay and display facilities are not available, and parking during the hour of control is designated for permit holders only
- Tradesmen working on properties within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)
Proof of residence
In order to purchase the permits, you must provide proof of residence unless you already hold a valid resident permit.
