Apply for a resident parking permit
You can apply for a resident permit online, by post or in person.

Apply online
To apply online you must have a parking account with us.
If you:
- Already have an account you will need to sign into your account
- Do not have an existing account you will need to register for an account
Timescales
New online resident permit applicants will be covered to park their vehicle as a permit holder pending the processing of the permit application. The interim parking cover is virtual and you do not need to display anything in your vehicle. This information is contained in the confirmation email you will receive when you successfully submit an application.
Once your permit application is approved, your permit will be sent by second class post and must be displayed in the vehicle.
Apply online at the Customer Centre
You can apply online at the self-service area in the Customer Centre.
You will need to bring the required documents with you.
Applications made in the Customer Centre will not incur the administration fee.
Apply by post or in person
Receptions at Wandsworth Town Hall are open and operating an appointment only service. There are usually plenty of appointments available at short notice. Please call in advance to book your slot on 020 8871 8871.
All applications made by post or in person at the Customer Centre will incur a £25 administration fee. You will not be charged this fee if you use the self serve facilities.
You will need to complete the appropriate application form:
- Standard application form for new permits and renewals
- Temporary one month permit application form
- Replacement or duplicate application form

- Completed application form
- Required documents
- Your payment by cheque or postal order

If you require your permit on the same day then an administration fee will apply.
