As the borough powers up to become London Borough of Culture 2025, WAF is celebrating its 15th year as London’s most exciting and inclusive arts festival.
From 7 – 23 June 2024, leap into a world of brand-new theatre, experimental dance and music, art, family and community events, cabaret and works-in-progress from the next big names in comedy.
There are more than 130 events taking place across more than 40 venues - including parks, streets, churches, estates, libraries, pubs and theatres – and tickets are affordable.
This year, as part of its commitment to becoming a Borough of Sanctuary, free tickets will again be available for refugees and recently-displaced people living in Wandsworth.
Deputy Council Leader Kemi Akinola said: “We’re excited to again be delivering a fantastic WAF programme this year. Wandsworth is rich in arts and culture – which is why we are London Borough of Culture 2024 – and WAF has been our flagship event for 15 years.
“It’s important to us that culture is part of everyone’s lives and that it is affordable and accessible. Delivering WAF events at all sorts of venues right in the heart of communities, and offering free tickets to asylum seekers, means everyone can be a part of it.”
