Sustainable September is a month of community action to tackle climate change and champion local sustainability initiatives.

Climate Action Microgrants of £100 to £500 are available for Wandsworth community and voluntary groups, schools and individuals.

Cabinet Member for Environment Judi Gasser said: “We want to hear about events that bring communities together, help people think about and discuss climate change, and initiate and celebrate local climate action.

“It could be a festival, a rewilding project, repair or reuse initiatives - anything that encourages community conversations and helps local people bring about real change. Get in touch now with your idea.”

The deadline to apply for a climate microgrant is August 23, but if you want to appear in the Sustainable September programme guide you must register your event by August 17. Please still email us about your event if it is past the registration deadline.
