Help strengthen our voluntary sector partnership

A wide range of organisations have already contributed to the draft VCS Strategy, and now the council wants further feedback to refine it, fill in any gaps and ensure it is robust and inclusive before it is launched later this year.

It is part of ongoing work by the council to improve its relations with the VCS and create a shared vision and approach.

The draft strategy builds on this work and will create a clear joint vision and set out shared commitments from all partners.

Kemi Akinola, Deputy Leader of the Council, said: “It’s fitting that the strategy will be launched the year we celebrate our community as London Borough of Culture 2025.

“Our local groups and organisations are the bedrock of the borough, and it’s vital we get everyone’s views. We know the sector is already thriving, so help us to make it even stronger and more effective at providing support to our residents.”
