Think of the person you know who goes out of their way to help others but does not get the recognition they deserve.
They may be a volunteer, carer, someone tackling climate change or just a person who looks out for their neighbours.
Mayor of Wandsworth Sana Jaffri said: "We want to celebrate what makes Wandsworth such a warm, welcoming, inclusive borough – its incredible people. Tell us about your local heroes so we can give them the recognition they deserve.”
This year there will be a special award for children and young people under 25 who have made a difference in the borough.
The special award will be presented by Wandsworth’s first-ever youth mayor, 17-year-old Millie Quinn.
It is quick and easy to nominate your local hero online. The deadline to nominate is September 6.
