Where: Whitelands College, Holybourne Avenue, Roehampton

This year Employ Wandsworth will be held in the heart of Roehampton. This is part of our pledge in the Alton Renewal Plan to provide more skills and employment opportunities for residents living on the Alton Estate and in Roehampton in response to local feedback.

Take your CV because people looking for a job, or who want to find out about opportunities closer to home, can meet with around 50 local companies that want to hire Wandsworth residents.

Jobseekers at any level can go, from entry level to professional, as well as people in education and training. You can also get information and advice on training and career development and can take part in free workshops including creating a positive mindset, social media and interview preparation.

The free event is organised by our Work Match team, who match local people to Wandsworth-based jobs. Work Match staff will be there to offer recruitment advice.

Deputy council leader and business spokesperson Kemi Akinola said: “Employ Wandsworth is our flagship jobs fair, and this year we want to put it where local people have told us it is most needed.

“We’re determined to make sure local opportunities go to Wandsworth people, so book your tickets now as we are expecting a big turnout.”

You can turn up on the day, but you can beat the queues by booking in advance. Find out more and book on the Employ Wandsworth website.
