Wandsworth’s jobs and training scheme WorkMatch is offering budding masterchefs the chance to learn new kitchen skills

The council is offering residents the chance to learn kitchen and food preparation skills to help them find their dream job.

Starting on 7 May, the council’s WorkMatch team will be hosting a free food prep and chopping skills course for catering assistants at Mission Kitchen in Battersea’s New Covent Garden Market.
The five-day course offers attendees the chance to learn practical skills in a professional kitchen, with the opportunity to gain a food hygiene certificate and meet employers from within the food industry.
