On Friday go along to King George’s Park for a free fun day for 0-5 year olds, including face painting, arts and craft, a sensory area, storytelling and songs and entertainment including a puppet theatre, stilt walking, balloon modelling, plate spinning and giant bubbles. Everyone is welcome and you can just turn up.
On Friday and Saturday meet members of the council’s early year’s team at Southside Shopping Centre and watch their new film A Day in the Life of a Two-Year-Old.
“The early years are a crucial time for children and families, and we want to make sure all parents know that support and activities are out there for them, including children’s centres, specialist support for children with SEND and free early education and childcare places,” said cabinet member for children Cllr Kate Stock.
“So come along to Southside and chat to our friendly team, and please enjoy all the free activities on Friday, meet other parents and have fun.”
