Potential disruption from Storm Eunice tomorrow (Friday) 

There will be some changes to scheduled refuse collections to mitigate any potential risk to people or property.  

Winds are predicted to increase in speed throughout the morning and reach a peak between noon and 4pm. Therefore, refuse crews will attend scheduled collections earlier than usual. Please do not put your refuse out tonight, but as early as possible tomorrow morning, and please leave it in your front garden if possible. Do not put it on the pavement.  

If you are unable to do this, please leave your refuse out for collection on Saturday instead and the council will arrange additional collections.   

The council will monitor the impact of the storm and send additional street cleaners out if necessary. 

The borough’s parks will remain open but residents are urged to take extreme care.
