Normally, there’s a charge for residents to dispose of bulky waste but on Saturday 26 February, between 9 am and midday, you are invited to bring anything – for free - from sofas to mattresses and other large items - to one of the mega skips placed at nine locations in the borough. You can also bring black bags. Scroll down for locations.
Councillor Steffi Sutters, Cabinet Member for Community Services and Open Spaces said,
“You said you wanted us to bring back Mega Skip, day so we’re running it again this February so you can have a clear out of all those bulky items you’ve got at home.
“Last time we doubled the number of skips. This time we’ve got even more locations with additional skips at four more places across Wandsworth.
“So please do come along and make use of our mega skips.”
