Libraries First! is our strategy for library services in Wandsworth from 2025 to 2030.

Our goals

We want to make libraries first:

1. For access for all - making it easier to visit your local library
2. For community connection - helping our residents connect to their community
3. For learning - giving everyone space to study and learn
4. For reading - encouraging a lifelong love of reading
5. For wellbeing - supporting our borough's wellbeing
6. For information - helping people in Wandsworth access local support, advice and services
7. For culture - expanding our libraries' offering of culture, heritage and art
8. For digital - giving every resident in Wandsworth free access to modern digital services
9. For sustainability - creating libraries that will last for generations
