Our mission is for culture, in its broadest terms, to thrive in Wandsworth.
The team seek to ensure that everyone in our borough has the opportunity to participate in and celebrate culture as an artist, participant or audience member - or all of the above.

Wandsworth Borough has an active and well developed arts and culture sector offering a diverse range of creative opportunities.
The Arts and Culture Service works with a wide range of partners, across sectors, supporting culture and creativity to thrive. Our creative collaboration with artists, communities and organisations produces richly imaginative, excellent work. We actively champion diversity and promote equality in our projects. From the small-scale amateur to the larger professional organisations we’ve played a vital part in taking people beyond what they thought possible.

The Arts and Culture Service which works closely with national and regional bodies such as the Arts Council England, London Culture Forum, Greater London Authority’s Culture team and What Next? to nurture cultural and creatives industries within the borough.

What Next?
The What Next? movement has a local Wandsworth chapter who meet monthly. The group is an open voluntary group for residents, arts and community organisations, business people and individuals who want to champion the contribution that the arts and culture make in Wandsworth’s communities. Live or work in Wandsworth?
Each year the Arts and Culture Service delivers a dynamic programme to bring creative opportunities right to your doorstep.
Wandsworth Arts Fringe is Wandsworth’s annual arts extravaganza. Every June, Wandsworth welcomes global acts for an eclectic programme of arts and culture that thrills, moves and inspires audiences.
Creative Wandsworth is an education programme working with primary and secondary schools to inspire, involve and educate young people about the creative opportunities in Wandsworth, including creative careers and future skills.
