Journeying Between Here (2018-2019)

This free project, named by the 11-18 year olds who took part, was led by contemporary dance company Tavaziva, in partnership with Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Caius House Youth Centre, all based in Battersea. 

Tavaziva worked with a group of young people who explored dance and music-making with industry professionals and looked at the process of creating, marketing and performing their own work.

Performance

The project culminated in a performance on 7 May as part of Wandsworth Arts Fringe, performed as part of a triple bill which featured Ballet Soul’s new work ‘Othello’ and performances by artists from Royal Academy of Dance’s Step into Dance programme.
