University of Roehampton bus service

We are pleased to partner with the University of Roehampton to make its bus available for members of the public to use, free of charge.

This new transport service is funded by the Council as part of our Alton Renewal Plan for investing in Roehampton and the Alton estate, working with residents and local partners to help this part of the borough thrive.

When it will run

The service starts at the beginning of the new university term on Monday 23 September 2024, and will run every 20 minutes from approximately 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday during term time. For the 2024/25 academic year this is:

  • 23 September to 20 December 2024 (excluding weekends and bank holidays)
  • 6 January to 4 April 2025 (excluding weekends and bank holidays)
