Celebrate the restoration of our Grade II listed bull
Join us to celebrate the restoration of our bull!

- Location: By the bull statue on Downshire Field (Bull Green)
'Bull' is a Grade II listed sculpture by artist Robert Clatworthy, which was created in 1961. It was commissioned at the behest of A.W. Cleev Barr, one of the lead architects for the Alton Estate.
The statue has been restored by Heritage of London Trust and refreshments will be served at the celebration event, which will take place next to the bull on Downshire Field. There will also be an opportunity to see the future plans for Downshire Field.
Christmas tree light switch-on and schools' lantern parade
Come along and join us to see the Christmas tree light switch-on and schools' lantern parade, and to decorate a bauble for the tree.
This popular annual event will be attended by the Mayor of Wandsworth.

Rockin into Christmas
Come along to our over 60s 'Rockin into Christmas' party.

Roehampton Christmas market 2024
Roehampton's popular Christmas Market is back!
There will be gift ideas for everyone and festive food stalls to enjoy. Visit Santa's Grotto, check-out the stalls, take part in free crafting activities and enjoy the refreshments and entertainment.

Christmas carol celebration
We are delighted to invite you to a Christmas carol celebration, led by our very own, talented opera singer, Claire Doran.

Chantelle's Community Kitchen
Free pre-packed, nutritious, homemade meals to take away or eat in (donations appreciated if you feel able).
Chantelle’s Community Kitchen always welcomes new volunteers, with or without cooking experience. There are a variety of roles to fill in the friendly kitchen on Mondays and Tuesdays.

SW15 Women's Network invites you to a free weekly women's coffee morning.

In addition to the regular fitness classes, the Dons Fit for Women sessions will feature a variety of workshops and events, including yoga and selfcare workshops, as well as a female-centered self-defence class.
This term, AFC Wimbledon Foundation is also offering Dons Fit participants free match day tickets to the AFC Wimbledon Women’s team games, with the chance to be hosted in a VIP box at Plough Lane Stadium!
Community Engagement Action Plan
In January 2024 the Alton Regeneration Team published the Alton Engagement Action Plan 2023/24 which sets out the large number of engagement activities which took place over the previous 12 months and identifies some further activities for the next 12 months.
The Alton Engagement Plan is updated annually. Further ideas and activities will be developed with the community as the year proceeds.
