Empty and second home Council Tax review - additional information
We are currently conducting a review of all empty properties and second homes to confirm their status for Council Tax purposes.
We have put together some additional information to help you with any questions you may have.
Why you have received a letter
We are reviewing properties to make sure that everybody is paying the correct amount of tax.
How to complete the form
The easiest way to reply to the review is by using the online services. Refer to your letter for instructions on how to do this using your six digit unique code.
Completing the paper form
You will need to declare the occupancy status of the property. To do this, complete Section A and tick the relevant option. If the property is occupied, please proceed to Section B and list the names of all persons who use this address as their main residence.
Sign, print and date the form and return it to the address provided at the bottom of your letter.
Returning your information to Nottingham
The return address on the form is based in Nottingham. This is because the secure local government scanning facility used to process your response is based there.
